The first Methods of Mayhem album in eleven years arrives today, and to celebrate Tommy Lee & Co. putting this one into overdrive we're kicking off the record release with a full-album stream of A Public Disservice Announcement! Listen below:

Taking a unique new route in keeping with the modern evolution of the music industry, famed Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee enlisted the help of fans to complete the record. For nearly a year, Lee listened to thousands of submissions from fans after posting songs and inviting others to contribute to the tracks with ProTools, Logic, GarageBand or Riff Works.
Tommy shared his thoughts on the process with Blabbermouth, saying that he was grateful for the support.
"This really was one of the most incredible experiences I've had making a record, other than the first time I made a record — because there's nothing quite like popping your cherry!" Lee said. "This record was the craziest thing ever. Parts were sent in from all over the world by people wanting to participate in the first once-in-a-lifetime global collaboration. It was insane, dude!"
Lee began Methods Of Mayhem in 1999 after leaving Motley Crue (he's since victoriously rejoined the band). It was originally supposed to be a collaborative project with rapper TiLo (who has since left the group), but grew to include then former Jane's Addiction members Chris Chaney and Stephen Perkins and Beastie Boys DJ Mix Master Mike.
Methods Of Mayhem's 1999 self-titled album featured guest appearances from Fred Durst, Kid Rock, Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, The Crystal Method and Lil Kim, among others.
