It's nearly impossible to keep up with all the great new music happening each week, so we thought we'd help you keep track of the good stuff by compiling it all in one place! With new music from John Legend & The Roots, Florence + The Machine, We Are Scientists, Kanye West, DJ Shadow and more, you'll have plenty to work with each New Music Tuesday as you make your way through the week.
John Legend & The Roots got together for a full-album collaboration effort, and the result is the immensely impressive Wake Up! The album is an improvement for Legend, who covers some classic soul singles with fire, including a nearly 12-minute cover of "I Can't Write Left-Handed" and a Black Thought-featuring cover of "Little Ghetto Boy."

Kanye West stole the show once again at Sunday's MTV VMAs, and while you may have seen his performance of the new track "Runaway," he egomaniacal MC recorded a studio version, which you can stream and download courtesy of InFlexWeTrust. Have a listen and download it for yourself here.
Also be sure to check out his latest (excellent) G.O.O.D. Friday installment, "G.O.O.D. Friday" featuring Common, Pusha T, KiD CuDi, Big Sean and Charlie Wilson.
Check out Florence + The Machine's new video for "Heavy In Your Arms", from the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack. FATM won the MTV VMA for Best Art Direction and performed her hit "Dog Days Of Summer" at the VMAs on Sunday. You'd be a fool not to check out their album Lungs, out now.

Next year, DJ Shadow plans to release an as-yet-untitled new album, his first since 2006's experimental The Outsider. The master mixman debuted a couple new tracks from the project, which in addition to hearing below, you can also download them for free from Shadow's site. They'll be for sale digitally next week, and a few 12"s featuring the tracks are currently floating around record stores in Eastern Europe, the UK, and the U.S.

Flaming Lips - "I Can Be a Frog"(Black Cab Sessions)
The Black Cab Sessions is an online video series that takes place in the backseat of a British taxi, featuring claustrophobically intimate performances by some of the best names in the game.If there's one thing the Flaming Lips are good at, it's taking a situation and turning it into an over-the-top performance art event, so in the video below, they rope their cabdriver into their rendition of "I Can Be a Frog". The driver does all the animal-noise parts that Karen O did in the original song. He does such a good job, frontman Wayne Coyne cracks up a few times.
