Vancouver hip-hop band The Random Humans is taking the West Coast by storm with their three EPs, which were released earlier this year – What You Do (featuring vocalist Kate Devlin), Cant Escape, and Like Yesterday. Group member Deception, an Alberta native, along with “beatsmith” Bear, a Calgary boy, recently announced that they would be joining forces with the Living Legends on their L.E.S.S. IS MORE Canadian tour, making stops in Edmonton, Calgary, Kamloops, and Vancouver, amongst others.

They wrote on their official site: “The EP, released on Random Human Records/Reversed Records, is a fresh step in Vancouver's teeming underground music scene. Always striving to display a real expression of a generation's musical influences, The Random Humans have only begun to scratch the surface...”

Both members of The Random Humans have already left their marks on the music industry. After writing and experimenting with more than 100 tracks, Deception recorded a full-length album entitled “Under False Creek” with Calgary producer Decline, which was released last year. Bear moved to Vancouver four years ago and started working with Juno Award-winning engineer Rob Shallcross, making a name for himself by doing so.

Deception and Bear have been on a steady climb on the West Coast music scene with no signs of slowing down. In-between their tour dates with the Living Legends, The Random Humans have been working on their full-length debut album, which is due to come out later this fall.
