Ke$sha Breaks Pop-Airplay Record

Jack-chugging bad girl knocks Lady GaGa off her pop pedestal

It's only been a week since Lady Gaga broke Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart record, but a hotter blonde has already snatched the title away from her.

Ke$ha's debut RCA hit "TiK ToK" has unseated Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" for the number one spot, also logging the most weekly plays in the 17-year archives of the tally, registering 10,859 plays in the tracking week of January 11-17, according to Nielsen BDS.

"TiK ToK" has spent the past five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and two weeks ago the singer became only the 12th woman to see a concurrent Billboard 200 number one as well, with her Animal album.
