If you haven't heard of Them Crooked Vultures yet, don't fret; the Rock-god Frankenstein has only begun its path of sonic domination.
The self-titled debut album from Them Crooked Vultures, a new project featuring Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Queens Of The Stoneage's Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, will be released next month. Also, the first single will be attacking radio starting next week.
"New Fang" will hit radio next week (update: listen here). The site reported on Wednesday that they received word from Interscope Records about the single hitting radio next Monday, with a listed release date of November 17th for the album. Amazon's UK site lists a November 23rd release via Sony.

That being said, whatever words are being used to describe the perfect storm of Rock that is Them Crooked Vultures certainly don’t do the band justice. I've seen them twice, interviewed their frontman and have studied the bootleg recordings at unhealthy volumes for weeks on end, and still cannot get enough.
