AFI have kicked off their tour in support of their latest album Crash Love (check out our review), and during soundcheck yesterday they recorded a damn good version of weirdo-pop icon David Bowie's classic track "Ziggy Stardust".

It's been a while since a Bowie cover's been done with any respectability (although the recent Ben Harper/Eddie Vedder duet on"Under Pressure" was great - but that's a Queen song with Bowie guesting), and we're more than happy to hear it done by one of the most consistently rockin' live bands out there.
