May 13th marks the day that things will come full circle for Cash Money Millionaire Lil’ Wayne. The third and final installment to his platinum selling ‘Tha Carter’ series will mark a turning point in a career that has been steady on the rise since 1995.

The first single to hit street level is "Lollipop," featuring Static. "Lollipop," produced by Jim Jonsin (T.I., T-Pain, Twista) and Darius "Deezle" Harrison (Teena Marie & Destiny's Child), it's receiving early radio play in major markets including San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta.

In a highly competitive hip hop world Lil Wayne has made great strides to carve out a good sized portion of the lime light. Maturing right before our eyes over that last decade or so, Lil Wayne has gone from a member of the Hot Boys with the likes of Juvenile to dominating show bills and radio nationwide as a solo artist.

Highly sought after, when the MC is not killing it on mixtapes, he’s making guest spots on his colleagues projects. This year alone he has worked with Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, and many more. He toured throughout 2007, so it only seems natural that he would drop Tha Carter III in 2008, look for it in May.
