To our gratitude, Katt Williams has been a very busy man. If he’s not performing in front of crowds large and small across the country, he’s taking us there in film and on the tube. Now, for 2008, he’s taking us on a musical journey.
"Pimpin’ Pimpin’" is a funny enough phrase, coming from Katt Williams, that he could likely travel the country just saying that and still sell out venues every night. Luckily there’s more to it than that, by way of a star studded full length album that will likely come with the best package deal in town. Along with the album, a Best of Katt Williams album will also be included. If he keeps that up we’re going to see the Friday box set come alongside Ice Cube's next album, just to keep up with the Jones’.
Look for some of your favorite Hip Hop stars to make appearances on the album: names like Lil’ Wayne, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Da Brat, Paul Wall, Lil Jon, Mike Jones, Lyfe Jennings, MC Lyte, and E-40. The first single off the album will be "Gotta Shine" featuring Paul Wall and Mike Jones. Having gotten a taste of Katt’s rapping ability on last year’s Dipset compilation More Than Music, people are going to be pleasantly surprised by his very serious rhyming skills. Be on the lookout in early 08’.
