CraveOnline: Hey, man, what's good?? Aside from the fact that the three of you are biological brothers -- Tell me how the group, itself, actually came to fruition??

D-Roc: Well, basically I had started buying a whole lot of equipment at the house, and then we just started recording. After so long, it's like when Brandon got out of jail, that's when we decided to go on and form the group. From that point on, I've been out here networking trying to make (a) name out of it.

CraveOnline: With this new side project, where does that leave the future of the Ying Yang Twins??

D-Roc: Ying Yang always stay moving, man. Actually, Kaine was over to my house last night -- We was working. This [Da Muzicianz] just showing everybody that we can broaden our horizons, and be successful at the same time.

CraveOnline: Where'd the name Da Muzicianz derive from??

D-Roc: Well, basically I feel like every artist in the game they use their voices as instruments, because I don't know nobody that rap and talk the same. So, they don't sound the same when they do them two (things). It's like we use our voice as instruments. We might be high (sounding) on one song, might be yelling on it, but then get on another song (and) we might be low. It's like we just use our voice as the instrument -- That's why I named (us) Da Muzicianz.

CraveOnline: How do you define the style of music that you all create and perform??

D-Roc: We make party music. We come to crank the party up. You can come to Atlanta, and you can party seven days a week. You can go to a club seven days a week -- That's what people don't understand. But, it's different vibing in the clubs. They don't vibe the same. Like if you go over in Buckhead, it's like the rich, ritzy side, so they're probably over there gyrating. If you go over to Bankhead, that's the hood, (so) they doin' the Poole Palace [a dance getting more national recognition now due to the current Snap Music hit of the same name by BHI {Born Husslers Inc}] -- Doin' it 'til their back get sore. They just going off. If you go over to Decatur, that sh*t get crazy, man. Or, you just might want to take a typical Ying Yang night, and go to the strip club. Seven days a week there's something to do in Atlanta. It's a party, and that's what we gonna show 'em.

CraveOnline: As far as comparisons are concerned -- How does Da Muzicianz' music either differ and/or compare to that of the Ying Yang Twins??

D-Roc: We're not trying to compete against Ying Yang. We're not trying to be compared up against Ying Yang, or trying to make similar music. We (didn't) try to make sure we out-do it, because we make our own type of music -- What makes us feel good. I think that's what's gonna show a lot of similarities within the group, because Ying Yang we have our own vibe. And, I'm like a different D-Roc when it's me and Kaine, opposed to with Da Muzicianz. It's like I have stepped it up. I'm CEO, and I'm a rapper, but I'm trying to show everyone (that) I'm CEO so my lyrics have to improve to that status, too. It's like they're [Da Birthday Boy & Mr. Ball] not trying to sound like me, or duplicate nobody else, they staying they-selves, and I've done stepped game up. It's really a great album -- No comparing to Ying Yang. You gonna have your Ying Yang song on there, because we did one with Ying Yang. It wouldn't be right if we didn't do Ying Yang. It's called, 'Strip Leader.' And, that's just to let everybody know, all these girls out there, they ain't no cheerleaders no more -- They strip leaders.

CraveOnline: The album has a pretty self explanatory title -- Why did you choose this name??

D-Roc: I have been out here networking, and passing out flyers & t-shirts, for like a good two years, and everybody used to ask me, "So, when's the album coming??" The only thing I'd say, "Oh, it's coming soon!!" So, it's like now it ain't coming soon no more, it's In Stores Now!!

CraveOnline: What do you feel has been the ultimate key to your success??

D-Roc: I feel the success with my music is humor. If you keep your humor into it, it shows within your music -- Alot of people forget their humor.

CraveOnline: Do you have any other aspirations, maybe even outside of music altogether??

D-Roc: I've been gearing up for everybody (to) take me serious as CEO. That's my first mission, and then once I get that accomplished, I'm trying to start my clothing line, do my own shoe, (and) all that kind of good stuff. The movies, I want it all -- There's no limitation.

CraveOnline: Since In Stores Now is not only the debut project from Da Muzicianz, but also the first from your very own imprint, PUNNN!!!! Entertainment through TVT -- What are your immediate goals and plans for the new label venture??

D-Roc: On the album, we have Geeskie and Kuzin Big Boyy, and I'm like kind of molding them the same way I did my little brothers 'cause I'm gonna make them a group as well. I'm letting them get the whole aspect of what's going on, and getting them in the making -- Their album come next.

CraveOnline: On a serious note -- Would it be fair to say that you are happy with the current state of Hip-Hop music??

D-Roc: Yeah, because it's really showin' that people can start back having fun with music, opposed to everything being so serious. That's what I like about (it). Even though people probably say that The South is messing (it) up, because The South dance. If somebody has a problem with dancing, then you need to go back and do your muthaf!@#$% history. Before we came over here [United States of America], we've been dancing our asses (off). You can go over to Africa, they still dancing -- Beating on drums and sh*t. So, what's wrong with a person dancing?? That's why I don't understand why a muthaf!@#$% want to be so hard (that) he can't bust a move -- That's a muthaf!@#$% who really don't live that long because they stress they-self to death.

CraveOnline: Thus far, what has been your biggest career highlight??

D-Roc: (It's) Da Muzicianz' album. That's like a big accomplishment for me, because who'd of thought that I'd be able to come out (and) be successful, and be able to bring out a group as well?? Now, I'm just waiting to see how successful that's gonna be.

CraveOnline: Futuristically speaking -- Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years time??

D-Roc: I see myself like Russell Simmons, man -- A big man. He has his head on his shoulders. He has his label thing going, he has his clothing line going, he's just doing big things -- That's where I see myself, in a big position.

CraveOnline: When can we, the masses, expect to hear another Ying Yang record??

D-Roc: Oh, it's gonna be this  year, too. We trying to make sure (that) this is a big year for Ying Yang. Kaine, he got his own label jumping off -- Grown Folks Entertainment, and that's gonna be a very big project. He's doing his solo album (now). And, then, Ying Yang's next album, AWWW!! It's off the chain. So, we're trying to make sure you see a very big year out of our career, so big thangs this year.

CraveOnline: Anything you want to leave our readers with??

D-Roc: I would like to thank you, and before I go, I would tell all my fans that I love my fans more than think we do. I always try to go the extra mile to show my fans that I'm there (for them). And, you can check me out on My Space, my personal My Space -- Hit (me) up and add me as a friend, I will accept you.
