Eminem & Justin Bieber Dominate 2011 Bilboard Music Awards

Rihanna & Britney Spears make out and Beyonce is crowned empress of the universe in Sunday's industry spectacle.

Eminem and Justin Bieber claimed the lion's share of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, winning six awards each – including Artist of the Year for the absent Eminem.

Pop's biggest stars hit the stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Rihanna kicking off the show with a performance of "S&M," joined on stage by Britney Spears, which featured a deja vu-inspiring kiss at the end. Rihanna then went on to win three awards, including Top Female and Top Radio Artist of the year.

Eminem tore up the album charts and has been raking in the awards with last year's Recovery album, winning Sunday for Top Male Artist, Billboard 200 Album, Rap Artist, Rap Song and Rap Album in addition to the aforementioned Artist of the Year.

Host and Hangover Part II star Ken Jeong stayed fully clothed throughout the broadcast, a merciful restraint given how badly the actor's micropenis was burned into our minds in the original Hangover film. One of Senor Chang's comedy sequences was followed by his movie costars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis espousing their love of "urban music," which led to a punny introduction to one of the least urban musicians ever to walk the earth, Keith Urban. The country Kidman spouse sang his country hit "Long Hot Summer".

Speaking of country, Taylor Swift continued her reign by winning Country Artist of the Year, before "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum won Country Song of the Year.

Katy Perry won awards for top hot 100 artist and top digital songs, while British singer-songwriter Taio Cruz won the top hot 100 song of the year for his hit, "Dynamite."

After a duet between Far East Movement and Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Lil Wayne doubled up for a performance. Other performers included Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and singer Cee Lo Green.

Beyonce was honored with a massive tribute that included a Millennium Award for her musical influence. The singer was hailed as a role model for women by First Lady Michelle Obama, Bono, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga, all of whom paid tribute in pre-recorded segments.

Rounding out the night with Grandpa honors, Neil Diamond was given an Icon Award before performing his 1969 hit, "Sweet Caroline." Also, U2 won the top touring award for its current "U2 360 degrees" tour, a massive spectacle which has become the highest-grossing tour of all time.
