We were excited back in September when Thom Yorke revealed plans to launch a full-scale Radiohead tour next year (while he was co-hosting Giles Peterson's BBC Radio 1 show), but the news is just as sweet today as it was then. Radiohead has officially announced the first string of North American tour dates for 2012.
"The idea is to go out and play next year on and off during the year," said Yorke of the band's plans, which includes the likelihood of Portishead member Clive Deamer joining the group as a supplemental drummer.
In support of their newest album, The King Of Limbs, the tour kicks off on February 27th in Miami, FL (dates down below). Tickets for the shows go on sale starting November 12th except for the Tampa, FL show on February 29th. There will be a four ticker per person limit for each showSo far there are only 10 shows on the itinerary, which will undoubtedly see several more additions, as no major East or West Coast dates are included as of yet.
