A little gravy for the ears on this most turkey of days: controversial flowmaster Lupe Fiasco has dropped a brand new free mixtape, Friend Of The People, for you to enjoy over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Friend Of The People was originally intended as a 2009 Christmas release, but was backburnered when the rapper shifted his attention to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Kenna, Jessica Biel and Emile Hirsch for an awareness raising trek called the "Summit on the Summit," aimed at shining a light on the global clean-water crisis. The updated offering includes samples from M83, Ellie Goulding and Glitch Mob.
