The 56th annual Grammy Awards show takes place on Sunday night, where Daft Punk & Stevie Wonder will team up together during the last big chance rock stars have to dress to the nines and pat each other on the back before the sweaty mess of festival season gets underway.

CraveOnline is rockin' a full run of Grammy Awards 2014 coverage, keeping tabs on Jay Z's unearned 9 nominations while fellow rappers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kendrick Lamar, each with seven nods, vie for the statuettes– including best album and best new artist of the year. The other half of Jay Z’s luxury rap project, Kanye West, locked down two noms for his new Yeezus album in rap categories.

The selection of noms is fairly well balanced this year, with no major snubs standing out in each category. But plenty of artists have had a more serious bone to pick with the Grammys over the years, some valid and some not – and whether through bashing or boycott, we've collected 12 of the more memorable anti-Grammy moments in the show's recent history.
