The legend behind Amy Winehouse’s song “Me and Mr. Jones” has long been tied to Nas. The two collaborated two years later for a track that eventually appeared on Winehouse’s posthumous Lioness: Hidden Treasures album, and now another collaboration has surfaced between the duo.
“Cherry Wine” is set to appear on Nas’ upcoming Life Is Good, and while the audio quality of this rip leaves some to be desired, the flow and upbeat nature of the tune is exciting enough to dismiss the static.
Nas steps back to allow Amy to dominates the song's energy, keeping up with a racing flow that bounces through a romantic design before Winehouse charms up the chorus.
Listen to the 6-minute radio rip of “Cherry Wine” below. Life Is Good is in stores July 17.
