Reports are mounting of a second death near the site of the V Festival in Chelmsford, England. Various outlets are reporting that a 39 year-old man was found yesterday in the backyard of a house that held a private party near the festival, and police have arrested 10 men between the ages of 23 and 35 on suspicion of murder.
The death is believed to have been caused by severe head injuries, though further details are presently thin. Police have also identified Timothy Brockhurst as the 22-year old who was found dead previously at this year's V Festival. Brockhurst was discovered unresponsive inside a tent after midnight on Saturday.
The Killers, Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, Snow Patrol, Friendly Fires and Tom Jomes were among the performers at the V Festival, held in Weston Park and Hylands Park. The event is held at two parks simultaneously which share the same bill; artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday.
