55th Grammy Awards Nominees List: Jack White For Album of The Year?

Frank Ocean and Fun. are frontrunners in Grammy Award nominations for 2013, scoring six nods apiece mostly in the top Grammy categories. The Recording Academy announced the nominations Wednesday during a show in Nashville, prior to the 55th Grammy Awards taking place Feb. 10 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Addressing Fun.'s impressive showing, presenter Taylor Swift delivered a trusty Hallmark-card synopsis: "When you call your band fun. with a period at the end of the sentence, you set a very high standard for yourself and for fun itself," Taylor Swift, the concert's co-host, said in introducing them. "Fortunately this band from New York has lived up to the name in the best possible way."

See below for the featured nominees list, which includes no major snubs or surprises, including Album of The Year nominees Jack White, The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons and the aforementioned artists. In addition to the Keys' nominations, the band's frontman Dan Auerbach  received five nominations overall, including producer of the year. Additionally, for the first time ever a video game has been nominated.
