Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed as headliners for Benicàssim 2013.
The Spanish festival, which runs from July 18th – 21st, will also feature headline performances from The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age, with Jake Bugg, Azealia Banks, Palma Violets, Echo Lakes, Splashh and Swim Deep also confirmed to perform.
Last year the festival featured an impressive range of artists, with Stone Roses, Bob Dylan, New Order and Noel Gallagher all taking to the stage over the course of the weekend. It was feared that the festival would be cancelled this year after its parent company went into administration, but Music Festivals owner Vince Powers bought the festival back from administrators, successfully securing its future.
Early bird tickets for the festival have now sold out, with another batch of 5,000 available to purchase now at £145 each. They will remain this price until March 30th (or until they sell out), when their price will be increased once more. For those who don't fancy camping like a peasant, there are VIP tickets also available for £325 a pop. Both tickets include free camping for the week, which runs from July 15th – 20th.
