Theater Dates Announced For Grohl's 'Sound City' Film

You've seen the trailer and the amazing list of collaborators, and you know that the Sound City Players will be making their live debut in Park City Utah later this month in support of the film's premiere at Sundance. But now, the movie Dave Grohl has called "my life's most important work" has a list of big screen theaters its headed to, and chances are there's a showing in your neck of the woods.

Have a look at the jaw-droppingly amazing tracklist for the Sound City documentary, featuring collaborations among Josh Homme, Trent Reznor, Alain Johannes, Krist Novoselic, Paul McCartney and more. An even wider variety of music legends appear in the film about the legendary studio, including Neil Young, Mick Fleetwood, Tom Petty, Lars Ulrich, Chris Goss, Cheap Trick, Corey Taylor, Stephen Pearcy and many, many more.

Sound City will have most of its screenings limited to one night only: January 31, the day before the release date for a video download of the movie. Ticketing information is available on Sound City's official site.
