ROCKET mix 60s girl-group innocence with 70s decibel-damaged beats and 80s hair metal excess. In 2007, the band became one of the top 12 finalists on the Fox television series (and American Idol-spinoff) The Next Great American Band. Chosen from over 7,000 artists of all musical genres, Rocket was not only the sole all-girl band in the competition, but also the only finalist with a female vocalist.
