In the clip, Mike Shinoda discusses how the album went from loose demos to an album that leaps into new stylistic territories for the band. Phoenix Farrell also discusses the importance of implementing trap doors, surprises and a sense of journey to the experience this time around. And no, not the band Journey - these guys are looking to take you on a trip when A Thousand Suns is released, and it's got nothing to do with '80s power ballads.
