The Dead Weather just released their debut album, Horehound, to massive critical acclaim, and rather than running the standard press gamut to promote the project, the band put together their own damn interview.
As bassist Lack Lawrence provides accompanying organ music, an off-camera questioner asks rapid-fire questions of the Dead Weather members, most of which are answered just as rapidly and with deadpan hilarity by Jack White, the drummer/singer/producer/songwriter/label head of the band. Where else can you see Jack White getting argumentative over corn tortillas and New Kids On The Block? That's right, nowhere.
Allison Mosshart of The Kills, Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs round out the Dead Weather, which sounds a great deal like one would expect - a well-balanced combination of each members' other bands, with a gritty, whiskey-chugging swagger that's missing from most rock out there today.
