Former 'Lost' Star Comes To 'Community'

Last year, the characters of "Community" found themselves embroiled in an all out paintball war in "Modern Warfare," which was an instant classic for the series. And now it looks like someone with a shady past will be joining them for another round of combat.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Holloway has signed on to make a guest appearance as a "mysterious figure" who shows up at Greendale Community College as a new paintball war erupts on the campus.

Holloway is best known for playing James Ford aka "Sawyer" for six seasons on "Lost." Prior to that, he made appearances in "Angel," "Walker, Texas Ranger," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "NCIS." Holloway will also co-star alongside Tom Cruise in the upcoming "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol."

"Intro to Political Science," the most recent episode of "Community," dropped a few hints in the newscrawl about the newly revived paintball war. The original "Modern Warfare" episode famously spoofed several war films and presumably, the follow up episode will do the same.

The season finale of "Community" will air in May on NBC.
