Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't wasting much time after leaving politics: he's making a cartoon series and also has his pick of any number of Hollywood projects. It seems like he may have made his choice, if Hollywood Reporter is any indication. The Last Action Hero is 'far along in the dealmaking process' to star in The Last Stand, a film by Korean director Jee-Woon Kim, who also helmed the badass Sergio Leone homage The Good, The Bad, The Weird. Arnold would star as a small town sheriff one the border of Mexico, who – along with his inexperienced deputies – is the last thing standing in the way of drug czar's attempt to flee the country.

We like that Arnold's going back to work on a fairly grounded project. Arnold Schwarzenegger taking on drug dealers. That's all we ever wanted. Batman & Robin was a nice gesture, but in the wrong direction. Now, about Junior 2
