This is a direct warning to all male professional athletes who are in a relationship… YOU ARE IN DANGER. Hide all the sharp objects in the house and think about leaving town for a few days because the women-folk are mad as hell and aren't gonna take it any more!

Disbelieve me at your own peril because over the last few weeks three prominent athletes have been assaulted by their women and this could only be the tip of the iceberg.

It all began with the attack of Miami Dolphins wideout Brandon Marshall by his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall. According to the official police report, Nogami-Marshall "did unlawfully and intentionally arm herself with a kitchen knife and stab the victim in the abdomen."

Marshall, however, denied the incident happened that way, claiming “that he slipped and fell onto a broken glass vase," according to investigators. Deputies, however, found no blood near the broken vase, and when they arrested Nogami-Marshall, she told them she had "stabbed [Marshall] out of self-defense."

Next up on the vengeful women docket is the girlfriend of Denver Broncos DE Jason Hunter. She allegedly stabbed him, shocking him enough to call 911 where he was taken to the hospital. The injury was apparently only minor and he was OK after a few stitches.

The latest incident took place just this past Monday when the wife of Golden State Warriors guard Charlie Bell was arrested and charged with assaulting her husband, Mlive.com reported. Kenya Bell, a former Miss Michigan USA, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence, according to Mlive.com.

Breaking from the trend of traditional knives, Kenya Bell allegedly used a box cutter to assault her husband, causing minor injuries to Charlie. Kenya was released on a $5000 bond and ordered not to have contact with her husband.

So, are these three incidents just a series of startling coincidences or the sign of a larger trend taking form? Only time will tell but just to be on the safe side, guy athletes, you should take every precaution possible and maybe buy your better half some flowers of a regular basis.
