L.A. Noire just released this past Tuesday, but there's already DLC planned for the title. A Best Buy flyer is responsible for outing the first piece of downloadable content for Rockstar and Team Bondi’s detective title.

Keen-eyed detectives (read also: obsessive-compulsive nerds) noticed in this week’s Best Buy flyer that the company was offering a special incentive to get customers to their midnight launch of L.A. Noire. The first sixteen people to show up would get a free piece of DLC, entitled the "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson Case. This was the first time anyone had heard of the add-on case. Since that leak, Rockstar has revealed that the “Nicholson Electroplating” case is indeed the first piece of DLC for L.A. Noire, even going as far as publishing a placeholder redemption code website.

For the people that missed the opportunity to snag the DLC for free at Best Buy, you’ll be able to pick it up for a price on June 21 on either Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.

Unfortunately, Rockstar only confirmed the DLCs date and title. They haven’t provided any assets to accompany it. That means there’s no trailer or screens just yet. But as we get closer to that June 21st launch day, you can bet your ass that Rockstar will supply us with more concrete details about the upcoming expansion.
