Jonas Bevacqua, the 34-year-old co-founder and creative director of popular street clothing brand LRG, was found dead in his home Tuesday, according to the OC Register. His death appears to not be suspicious, however the cause of death has yet to be determined.

Bevacqua founded Lifted Research Group (LRG) in 1999 with Robert Wright, and watched the urban clothing company rise to prominence in the mid-2000s, with high-profile celebs sporting their threads. LRG was named to the #5 spot in Entrepreneur's 2008 "Hot 500" list of fast-growing companies.

A statement issued by LRG hails Bevacqua as a "visionary" and "a star who burned brightly in the sky and who is gone too soon. We ask that everyone keep his family in their hearts and prayers and respect their privacy in this time of incredible grief," the statement reads in part.

"There were no obvious signs of the cause of death," sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino told The Associated Press. He added that the county coroner would conduct an autopsy Wednesday.

Driven by influence from Southern California's skateboard, surfing and hip hop culture, Bevacqua and Wright began making clothes that reflected their interests.

"I grew up in a pretty unique environment and was exposed to a lot of different things," he said in a 2009 interview with the Orange County Register. "I didn't feel there was a clothing company to bridge the gap between all these different things that we were into – that spoke for that melting pot of what was going on. That's what LRG was all about."

By 2006, LRG had annual sales of $150 million, and had gained the attention of Entrepreneur magazine, who listed the company as No. 5 on its list of that year's 500 fastest growing companies. Soon, the clothing label began to expand into other arenas.

"The company is also involved in the promotion of underground recording artists and sponsors a skateboarding team," according to its website.
