Robin Williams

Oh, sure, the trailer is a real pit of nauseating parental cuteness. But sitting in front of all that exists three separate things: Robin Williams, Robin Williams' outstanding beard, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

If both the trailer and Wikipedia are to be believed (On the internet and on TV? Truth.), Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda after the famed princess in The Legend of Zelda franchise. Nintendo's marketing department made a brilliant move in snagging both Williams and his daughter for the commercial. You could literally hear the collective gasps of bewilderment and shame as they rang out across the internet.

Nintendo went even further to assemble an interview between Williams and his daughter concerning their love for the franchise and her name.

Ocarina of Time 3D is set to release for the 3DS this weekend. We'll have our review for the game published around the same time. It's long and E3 was last week, don't get mad.

Nintendo fans and investors are likely hoping this series will get the 3DS off to the running sales rate Nintendo's been used to for their handheld consoles. The portable needs the game in order to sell, we're just being honest.
