Can you believe it's been ten years since the last Jurassic Park movie? Damn we feel old. But that decade isn't stopping Steven Spielberg from revisiting the groundbreaking movie series. He's in talks with writer Mark Protosevich to come up with a story for Jurassic Park 4

Hollywood Reporter is describing the proposed film as a 'reboot,' although it's still in the 'exploratory' phase. Meaning that anything could happen. Years ago a fourth Jurassic Park was reportedly proposed in which the dinosaurs got off the island and re-conquered the earth, forcing humanity to splice dinosaur genes with humans in order to fight them off. There's a good chance that's not what they're doing here, although at the 'exploratory' stage we guess anything is possible.

Mark Protosevich is a credited screenwriter on such big Hollywood movies as Thor, I Am Legend and Poseidon. He's also making his directorial debut soon with Freakshow, based on his screenplay about a group of teenagers who gain superpowers accidentally and are asked to protect their city after the world's only superhero dies. Steven Spielberg is… Oh, you know who Steven Spielberg is.
