Typically, one-time movie theater events are reserved for the most prestigious of occasions, like when there’s a major concert or when Fox decides to re-release Star Wars. This is not one of those occasions. For this particular instance, NCM Fathom, Namco Bandai and Bandai Entertainment have joined forces to bring Tekken: Blood Vengeance in 3D to movie theaters for a one-time event. Calm yourself, the cheers are deafening!

The completely CGI feature film will be broadcast in more than 375 theaters across the country on Tuesday, July 26, at 7:30pm local time. The 90-minute feature will be supplemented by interviews with Project Director Katsuhiro Harada and scriptwriter Dai Sato, known for features such as Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Wolf's Rain.

If you find yourself interested in checking out the film, you can go to Fathom Events’ website to see if there will be a showing in your area. The official event website also has a trailer posted for the film.
