Joe Mazzello, better known as the kid who hovered over his sister's shoulder while she hacked a mainframe instead of handing a gun to Sam Neil and Laura Dern so they could just end the god damned movie in Jurassic Park, has… Wait, where was I?

Oh yeah, Joe Mazzello has been cast in Jon M. Chu's G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes. See? I knew his career would eventually overcome Star Kid.

We jest. Actually, Joseph Mazzello's doing alright for himself these days. Although he hasn't appeared in a hit movie since Jurassic Park (we're not counting his two second cameo in The Lost World, thank you very much), he's been acting consistently with roles in films like The River Wild, Raising Helen, The Social Network and even the HBO mini-series The Pacific. He also found time to write, direct and star in the drama Matters of Life and Death, about a group of siblings who lose their parents in 9/11.

In G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes, Mazzello will play Mouse, a character who we had thoroughly confused with Tunnel Rat. Deadline had the story.
