We're still in the process of playing catch-up this weekend.

We never stop playing video games. That’s a fact. Even after we call it quits for the week we still look forward to getting home and continuing our digital conquests. It’s our life blood. So we thought it would be fun to share with everyone what our gaming intentions are for the weekend so you guys can get a sense of what we're playing and enjoying on a weekly, non-formal basis. Yes, this concept isn't new to the internet. But hey, we kind of want to join in on the fun. Can you blame us for that? So without further ado, here’s what we’re playing this weekend that will forfeit any semblance of rest…

Please feel free to sound off below to let us know what your gaming plans are this weekend.

joeyJoey Davidson: I'm going to the beach this weekend. I'll have three ways to game: my laptop, my iPad and my 3DS. On the compy, I'll likely bust out Minecraft and continue my quest to tackle the survival island map. It's a game type created by the community where you can't leave a desert island… the object? Live.

On the iPad, I'll probably spend some time hunting for games rather than playing them. I'm in the mood for a nice, arcade title that's quick to pick up and put down. Addiction would be clutch, too.

Finally, on my 3DS, I'm still working on the side quests in Ocarina of Time 3D. My current chore? The Mask Shop Guy. If Majora's Mask hits the system, I want as much practice popping those bad boys on and off as possible. Man, I hope that game gets remade like Ocarina of Time.

alexAlex Keen: Recently, I’ve been playing DJ Hero on the Xbox 360. The game is a blast!  It’s a cool way to release stress and to bob my head at 11:30 at night.  I’ve kept on playing Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet since my review was posted and it definitely continues to provide a challenge.  I still haven’t explored the game’s time runs and will fill some time in with that this weekend.

If I had my way, and had 30 hours of free time, I’d pick up Scott Pilgrim vs. the World again for endless hours of face-punching entertainment.  This is my ideal world.  Unfortunately, that likelihood is small.  Nevertheless, if I do find a couple hours of respite (or a late night can of Red Bull), I’d love to pick up some more Scott Pilgrim action!

erikErik Norris: My gaming schedule this weekend is pretty light, honestly. But one thing I do plan to load up is our copy of Fruit Ninja Kinect that just arrived. While I’ve dabbled in Fruit Ninja on my iPhone before, I’ve never considered myself a hardcore fan. But I know a few friends who are. So we’re going to get a group together and slice the shit out of some fruit.

The best part is that we might actually tape it for a Watch Us Play next week. We’re hoping to capture magic and get someone flailing around so hard that they actually crash down through my living room table. While it would suck to have to buy a new table, it would probably be worth it once the video is forever immortalized on the internet. Here’s hoping.

mikeMike White: I’ve had a small case of video game A.D.D. recently. I still log into Rift on occasion even though my subscription will be ending soon and I have no plans to renew it. I reinstalled StarCraft 2 just to remind myself how bad I can be at micro management. I’ve been doing the new daily quests in World of Warcraft and tried out a different spec on my Druid. It’s entertaining and passes the time, but none of it is very engaging.

What I’m trying to say is Blizzard needs to give me a Diablo III beta key. The wait has been long and I’m itching to try out the new classes and abilities. The new real currency auction house is stealing all the news surrounding the game, but it doesn’t affect the gameplay or the story so I’m not ready to let that be my focus. If I can’t manage my way into Sanctuary to tear apart some demons, I guess I could settle for a Star Wars: The Old Republic beta invite. Here’s your chance to convert another Blizz fanboy, BioWare. I suggest you take it.
