1000 Comic Books You Must Read

Comics Buyer's Guide, the longest-running publication about comics ever, has just announced a partnership with iVerse to offer digital downloads and exclusive original ebooks through their free Comics+ app for the iPhone and iPad, which you can download right here

Comics+ already features over 5000 digital downloads for comics, including titles from Marvel, IDW, Boom Studios, Archie and more, and now they'll be adding back issues of the guide and books like Tony Isabella's highly-acclaimed 1000 Comic Books You Must Read to their ever-expanding catalog as well.

“At iVerse, we are constantly looking for new and interesting content to offer our readers”, said Steve May, Director of Business Development at iVerse Media. “Adding Comics Buyer’s Guide, which provides invaluable information about the comic book industry, is a perfect fit for us. First and foremost, we are comic book fans at iVerse.  We could not be happier to offer Comics Buyer’s Guide and its’ informative take on everything from Silver Age comics to current retail trends in our Comics+ app. We’re also excited to be able to offer their book titles such as 1000 Comic Books You Must Read.  Our users should be very happy about these new additions to Comics+.”

“Offering Comics Buyer’s Guide and our books and specials via digital devices is a great way to make our content available to an even wider audience of comics fans, both hardcore and casual,” said Brent Frankenhoff, CBG editor.  “This has been an exciting process and I’m anxious to hear from users who have just discovered us as well as those who are already familiar with our products. It’s yet another way we’re reaching out to fans beyond our print products, our social networking, and our website CBGXtra.com.”

Everybody knows that reading comics online is the way the future is heading, and this should help the venerable establishment can help bring the old school into the new.
