Watch Us Play: I Am Alive

The video game equivalent of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" sounds awesome in theory...

We're back with another episode of Watch Us Play, this time focusing on Ubisoft Shanghai's I Am Alive, a recently released downloadable effort for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade that was originally announced back in 2006.

The general gist of I Am Alive is that you're struggling to survive after the world has been torn to shit by "an event." The game tries its best to be something more than just your run of the mill third-person action adventure title, focusing primarily on barely scraping by instead of being a one man army in search of your wife and daughter. Unfortunately, while the concept is sound, the execution is anything but. You'll get a taste of why that is with our below preview.
