In a special bonus episode of The B-Movies Podcast, William 'Bibbs' Bibbiani and Professor Witney Seibold are joined by by comic book creator Duncan Rouleau, one of the founders of Man of Action, the group that brought you such TV series as "Ben 10," "Generator Rex" and "Ultimate Spider-Man." Most importantly, today at least, he's the creator of The Great Unknown, a comic book series optioned by New Line for an upcoming motion picture adaptation by MacGruber director Jorma Taccone. The mini-series tells the story of Zach Feld, an inventor who discovers his ideas are being stolen… before he even invented them. The series is a paranoid fantasy with overtones of Ayn Rand and Philip K. Dick, and we've got an exclusive interview with the series' creator, now producer of the motion picture, about the ideas behind the story and his the plans for the movie, including why the film itself will steal ideas from other motion pictures, and why a little film called Inception delayed the deal to turn The Great Unknown into a feature.
