While details about the fifth and final season of "Breaking Bad" are still hard to come by, at least one new cast member has been revealed.

TVLine is reporting that Jesse Plemons has signed on for a major recurring role on the forthcoming season of "Breaking Bad." Plemons will portray Todd, a young man who is described as " dependable" and "innocuous;" but the report also warns that Todd may not be what he appears to be.

Plemons is best known for his turn as Landry Clarke on "Friday Night Lights," in addition to his roles in Varsity Blues, Paul, Shrink, The Failures and All the Pretty Horses. Plemons also has a major part in the upcoming Battleship (pictured above) film alongside his "Friday Night Lights" costar, Taylor Kitsch.

"Breaking Bad" will return to AMC for its fifth season in July. Although AMC has yet to confirm this, it is widely expected that the final season of "Breaking Bad" will be split into two halves of eight episodes each, with the final eight to be held back until 2013.
