We talk to the star of MTV's hit series about the upcoming second season.

Season two of “Teen Wolf” premieres this Sunday, June 3 after the MTV Movie Awards. And if you need to catch up on season one, the DVD is now available with commentary from Tyler Posey and other cast members.

Last month, Posey came to the Paley Center for Media with the cast of “Teen Wolf” wearing a sharp suit. I complimented his pocket square and he said it was the first time he’d ever worn one. He then graciously answered a few questions.

CraveOnline: Where does season two pick up for Scott?

Tyler Posey: Season two picks up a couple weeks after season one. He went through a lot in season one and can’t help but mature from these experiences. So Scott is in a different place in season two than he was in season one. Season one, he was dreading the fact that he was a werewolf, didn’t want anything to do with it, was mad all the time and kind of depressed.

Season two he embraces the fact that he’s a werewolf, he’s happier, he’s in a great relationship that has to be hidden, but other than that he’s feeling pretty good about himself because he gets to rescue people and that’s all he wants to do.

CraveOnline: Is he still on the lacrosse team?

Tyler Posey: He is definitely still on the lacrosse team. He is still a co-captain so he’s a big part of the lacrosse team but his grades are dropping, so he’s got to bring those grades up to stay on the team.

CraveOnline: Is the team storyline still important?

Tyler Posey: There is less lacrosse this season but it is still a huge part of the plot and it’s in a few episodes. We would not have the show without lacrosse.

CraveOnline: With all those rescues, do you get to do a lot more stunts?

Tyler Posey: I did so many more stunts. I did more stunts the first half of this season than I ever did the entire first season which was the coolest thing ever. I love doing stunts. Got hurt, it was awesome, I bled, got bruised, I didn’t cry that long and it was the coolest thing ever.

CraveOnline: What was the big stunt that got you bleeding and crying?

Tyler Posey: I had a lot of fun on the ice. I got to do a bunch of stunts on the ice, on ice skates. A lot of fight scenes. I bled a lot. There’s not one specific time that I could pick out but I did bleed a lot.

CraveOnline: Are you on the ice as a wolf or as Scott?

Tyler Posey: As Scott. The wolf feet are too big for the ice skates.

CraveOnline: What was it like to welcome new cast and characters into season two?

Tyler Posey: Hated it. This is our domain and anyone who tries to enter it, this is the Thunderdome. No, it was awesome. Made a lot of really good friends. Some of them are here. There’s Sinqua [Walls.] A really great group of kids, really welcoming and just a good group of kids. I had a lot of fun shooting and they fit right in with our family, great actors. They just make the season way cooler than it couldn’t be.

CraveOnline: What complications are coming for Scott’s love life?

Tyler Posey: Well, now that everything’s out in the open for Allison, her parents don’t want to hold anything back from her so they try to separate Scott and Allison through brutal force. Like Argent holds a gun to him and threatens to kill him every time he gets near Allison, so they have to be very secretive about it.

CraveOnline: Sounds like good drama.

Tyler Posey: Great drama.

CraveOnline: Did you enjoy doing the DVD extras for season one?

Tyler Posey: Yes, I actually today just bought the first season DVD. I went to Best Buy and bought it and took a picture of me buying it like that. And I watched the commentary and we have the funniest commentary. We’re the stupidest group of people in the world, at least I am. It was hilarious and I laughed for three hours. Not true because it’s only an hour but you get the idea.
