Chad 'Ochocinco', formerly Chad Johnson, recently signed with the Miami Dolphins and will be appearing on the upcoming season of HBO's 'Hard Knocks'. Aside from his antics on the football field, Ochocinco may best be known for his upcoming wedding to 'Basketball Wives' star Evelyn Lozada.
Their Courtship and upcoming wedding has been well documented and even televised. But now, thanks to an exclusive interview that Lozada gave to Yahoo! Music's 'The Aftermath,' we now know that not every aspect of thier fairytale relationship has been all about the romance.
"My proposal, it really wasn't that romantic," Lozada said during an exclusive interview with the Yahoo! Music site. "He told me that the jeweler was coming to the house, so I thought he was going to buy watches. I didn't know we were going to get engaged. Jason from Beverly Hills gets to the house. He pulls out some rings. … Chad has his headset on 'cause he likes playing 'Call Of Duty,' 'Fifa,' all of that stuff. He was like, 'Which one do you like?' I'm like, 'I don't know. This one.' It was in a separate box. I picked that one. Put it on. He goes, 'Alright, so we're engaged.'"
Afterward, Lozada said Johnson resumed killing people on 'Call Of Duty.' "I'll never forget this as long as I live," she said with a laugh.
Lozada was on the show to promote her recently released book "Inner Circle". The book, co-authored with "Law and Order" writer Courtney Parker, is a 'no punches-pulled' look at some of the things that have happened to her.
Ochocinco and Lozada are due to be married this fourth of July. There is no word, however, if Chad will be donning the 'Call of Duty' headset at any time during the ceremony.
