On last night's episode of "Warehouse 13," Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) successfully brought Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) back to life with an artifact. But soon enough, Steve won't be the only Jinks in the warehouse family.

Syfy has announced that Laura Innes has signed on to appear as Steve's mother, Emma Jinks during an upcoming episode of "Warehouse 13" season 4. The network noted that Steve must reunite with his mother during "an artifact-related case" after being estranged from her for two years.

“The wonderfully talented [Laura] Innes gives a heartrending performance as a woman who is desperately trying to mend her relationship with the only child she has left, after her family was torn apart by tragedy,” said Jack Kenny, "Warehouse 13's" showrunner and executive producer. Kenny's comment about Steve being the "only child she has left" also seems to rule out the notion of eventually bringing in Aaron Ashmore's brother, Shawn to play Steve's twin.

Innes has most recently starred in "The Event" (pictured above) and "Awake" on NBC, but she is perhaps best known for her 12 season stint on "ER" as Dr. Kerry Weaver. Innes is also established TV director, with episodes of "The West Wing," "House," "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," "Brothers & Sisters" and "The West Wing" to her credit.

Other guest stars coming (or returning) to "Warehouse 13" this season include Sam Huntington, Lindsay Wagner, Rene Aberjonois and Jeri Ryan.

Innes' episode of "Warehouse 13" will be broadcast on Monday, September 17.
