In just under two weeks, NBC will premiere "Revolution," a highly anticipated drama from "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke and J. J. Abrams ("Lost").
"Revolution" takes place in the near future, 15 years after a cataclysmic event rendered electricity useless and forced humanity into a world without technology. And it's fairly safe to say that humanity has not adjusted well to the change. The governments have collapsed and now militias and warlords control what was once known as the United States of America.
The series follows Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), his niece, Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and his nephew, Danny (Graham Rogers) as they attempt to survive in this new world. However, the Matheson family may have the key to discovering what caused the end of technology... and the only hope of possibility of finding a way to restore the world they once knew. Elizabeth Mitchell costars as Rachel Matheson, Charlie and Danny's mother in flashback sequences, while "Breaking Bad" fan favorite, Giancarlo Esposito appears as Captain Tom Neville, one of the more fearsome warlords.
Officially, "Revolution" is set to debut on television on Monday, September 17 at 10pm. However, NBC has released the entire pilot online; which you can watch below.
