On last week’s episode of “Hunted,” the ongoing storyline became a little bit more clear.
While continuing her undercover assignment for the private espionage company known as Byzantium, Sam Hunter (Melissa George) came across Bernard Faroux, the man she betrayed just prior to the attempt on her life. Faroux offered Sam info about who wants her dead if she agreed to give the intel on Jack Turner (Patrick Malahide) to him instead of her employer.
However, Faroux’s subsequent death suggested that there is an additional intelligence organization attempting to manipulate events. And Sam’s former lover, Aidan Marsh (Adam Rayner) was revealed to be a mole for MI6. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s on Sam’s side or that he can be trusted.
In this week’s exclusive preview clip from Cinemax, Sam is surprised by the assassin nicknamed the Blank-faced man (Scott Handy) as Aiden realizes that the building he’s near is primed to explode with the next spark...
And in the second preview clip, Sam and Aiden discover Turner’s secret. Now they just they need to make it out of the building alive. But the security forces coming after them will make that easier said than done...
Cinemax has also released the synopsis for this week’s episode:
After Jack Turner is forced to bid more than he can afford, Sam aims to discover how he will raise the money in a short time. Turner appears to have hatched a diabolical plan with hedge fund manager Lewis Conroy (Richard Dormer), and Sam searches for the connection. Meanwhile, Aidan discovers some of Sam’s secrets and begins an investigation of his own.
“Hunted” season 1 continues this Friday on Cinemax!
