Lincoln Lee may not be coming back to “Fringe,” but Seth Gabel has found a new home on TV.

Following up on earlier reports that Count Vertigo will be the “Big Bad” of “Arrow” season 1, TVLine has revealed that Seth Gabel has been cast in the pivotal role as Oliver Queen’s main adversary.

Prior to portraying Agent Lincoln Lee for two seasons on “Fringe,” Gabel previously appeared in "Nip/Tuck," "The Closer," "CSI," "The United States of Tara" and "Dirty Sexy Money."

According to the early rumors, Count Vertigo will not be called by that name in “Arrow,” but the character is likely to retain Vertigo’s ability to disorient and confuse the perceptions of other people. Supposedly, this take on the character “will be truly scary and nightmarish.”

Gabel isn’t the only genre veteran coming to “Arrow.” “Farscape” and “Stargate SG-1” star Ben Browder is also slated to make a guest appearance on “Arrow” as Ted Gaynor, a DC comics character who has adversarial ties with the WWII group, the Blackhawks. However, Gaynor’s backstory will be updated to fit the contemporary tone of “Arrow.
