Update: Gearbox Software has confirmed that "Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage" will launch next Tuesday, November 20, 2012, for $10 (800 MS Points). If you're a Borderlands 2 Season Pass owner, the DLC will be a free download. To accompany the announcement, Gearbox released three new screenshots of the content. Original story: See that fellow at the head of this post? That’s Mr. Torgue, and he’ll be your guide to ass-kickery in the next Borderlands 2 downloadable content pack, “Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage.”

Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage represents Borderlands 2’s second downloadable expansion, the first being Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, which released last month. If nothing else, these DLC expansions are introducing us to a whole slew of new characters that fit in perfectly with the colorful world of Pandora. Tongue himself looks like a cross between Jesse Ventura and Parks & Recreation’s Ron Swanson. For the record, we think that's awesome.

Stay tuned for more on Borderlands 2 and Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, including more coverage of the content in the days to come.
