SQUIB: a : a short humorous or satiric writing or speech; b : a short news item. (Merriam-Webster)

This Tech Squib proves that we're getting so lazy even the idea of carrying a small MP3 player around with us is now too encumbering.

The ADAPT Bluetooth Adaptor clips onto your person and offers up a standard 3.5mm audio jack for your headphones. You then pair the ADAPT to your MP3 player or computer, plug in those headphones and go about your business – leaving the player stationary. As long as you stay within 30 feet of your player, you have nine hours of play time.

It's roughly the size of an iPod Nano, which bags the question of why not just buy that and let a little cord connect you to it. In fairness, the ADAPT lets you connect to devices potentially holding significantly more songs and other material. After trying it out, it does work just fine within its standard distance. And, at $39.95, it's cheaper than a Nano.
