The end of “Fringe” is just around the corner with only three episodes remaining of the cult sci-fi series. Last night, the Paley Center hosted a screening of Friday’s episode, “The Boy Must Live” with J. H. Wyman and Lance Reddick in attendance. CraveOnline was there and we’ll be posting interviews from the event before next week’s two hour series finale.
In the meantime, Fox has released three pivotal scenes from tomorrow’s episode which set the stage for major developments in the season long storyline.
For the first preview scene, Peter (Joshua Jackson) is surprised by his father, Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble); who announces that he’s found a way to locate September (Michael Ceveris).
In the second scene, Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) doesn’t quite appreciate Walter’s idea of freeing his body to jog his memories in the tank.
But the third and final preview scene is a major emotional moment that’s been long overdue. In it, Walter tells Peter exactly what the childlike Observer, Michael (Roman Longworth) did to him in the previous episode.
It’s easy to forget that the Walter currently on the show wasn’t the exact same Walter we met in “Fringe” all the way back at the beginning. But now the rebooted Walter is on the same footing as Olivia and Peter regarding their experiences in both timelines.
Before I sign off, here are a few more minor spoilers for tomorrow’s episode. Don’t continue reading this article if you don’t want a few hints!
