Find out who's hiring the Alabama bomb shell in light of her overnight fame.

By the time the ESPN cameras and Brent Musburger got through with her, the entire universe knew who Katherine Webb was following Alabama's romp over Notre Dame in the BCS national championship game last week. Now, not shockingly, a media outlet has decided to give Webb a television gig in light of her new found fame.

Aside from playing the role of 'Miss Alabama,' Webb — who is Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron's girlfriend — announced on Twitter that she will be working for "Inside Edition," in which she will cover the Super Bowl.

All I have to say is… good for her.

She's super hot and seems incredibly intelligent. I have no idea what kind of coverage a show like Inside Edition will have at the Super Bowl, but she's gorgeous and has a soon-to-be NFL quarterback as her boyfriend; that has to count for something, right?

Some naysayers showed their disapproval in response via tweets. However, McCarron's mother, Dee Dee Bonner, stood up for the beauty queen right away with a semi-comedic comment of her own.

Webb has also been asked to be in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue — meaning, be prepared to see her for around for a long time to come. Which, of course, I have no problem with.
