Iconic British sport car builder Aston Martin used the backdrop of the 2013 North American International Auto Show to announce special events and a special rollout to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The company just popped champagne on January 15th for its actual official birthday. Now, Aston Martin is marking the  anniversary of its founding with a year-long celebration taking place worldwide over the next year.

A week-long Aston Martin festival will rumble through England in July, with an open house of the company's factory in Gaydon and a gathering in Central London.

And, on the heels of its test debut in New Orleans last month, the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish will get the birthday treatment with a new Centenary Edition (above). The Centenary gets a graduated paint finish and a set of sterling silver Aston Martin badge wings badges.

Only 100 Vanquishes (of course) get the celebratory treatment. There will also be 100 special event versions of the V8 Vantage, DB9 and Rapide.

Each Centenary Edition model gets a unique gift box containing two glass keys, two key pouches made from leather and matching the car’s interior trim, solid silver cufflinks featuring the Aston Martin script, solid silver Rollerball pen and high quality Bang and Olufsen headphones.

Stay tuned for more news on how Aston Martin plans to add more party favors to its birthday year.
