Undefeated WBA and IBO middleweight champ Gennady Golovkin is arguably the hardest-hitting boxer on the face of the Earth these days. Golokin burst on to the scene when he destroyed Grzegorz Proksa during his first appearance on HBO last September. "Triple G" displayed a great boxing IQ to match his enormous power en route to a fifth round TKO victory.

Golovkin is now set to face Gabriel Rosado in his first fight at the world's most famous arena Madison Square Garden. I recently had a chance to catch up with Golovkin. Here is what he had to say:

CraveOnline: Hey Gennady, how are you?

Gennady Golovkin: I am good. Thank you.

CraveOnline: You made a stunning first impression on HBO last September and now you're facing Gabriel Rosado at MSG. How important is it to make another lasting impression with this being your first fight at the Garden?

Golovkin: It's very important, you know. Last year, I had a great knockout. I want it again.

CraveOnline: How has your preparation been for the fight?

Golovkin: It's going good. I work hard everyday. Great sparring. I'm ready. I feel great right now. I think it will be a great fight for TV, for people.

CraveOnline: What have you seen in Rosado's style that you are looking to exploit?

Golovkin: He is a big man. He's tough. I think he's tough for light middleweight; I don't know for middleweight. I don't know. He is not scared but there is too much talk, talk, talk for me. I don't know, he's a big man and he's not scared but it is a good fight for me.

CraveOnline: You've had a very decorated amateur career. Who was your toughest fight?

Golovkin: For amateur? Wow. I have a long amateur career. I would say Andre Dirrell and Lucian Bute. They were the best.

CraveOnline: I have to say you have the heaviest hands we've seen in the middleweight division in quite sometime. You might have the heaviest hands in all of boxing at the moment. At what age did you know you could hit so hard?

Golovkin: (Laughing) It's just natural, I don't know..natural. I think.(Laughing)

CraveOnline: You've stated on previous occasions that you'd fight any of the big names ranging from 154 to 168 pounds. What's next for you permitting you get past Rosado?

Golovkin: It doesn't matter. I want to fight everybody.  Everyone in the 160 pool and anyone at 168. Maybe Carl Froch..anybody. I'm ready.

CraveOnline: What will happen on January 19th?

Golovkin: I am ready. This is my dream. For me, Madison Square Garden is the best arena in the world. It's like the MGM Grand for New York. I'm ready.

CraveOnline: Alright Gennady. Thank you very much and good luck!

Golovkin: Thank you. I appreciate it.

Gennady Golovkin will be taking on Gabriel Rosado this Saturday live only on HBO.
