One of the more intriguing aspects of “The Walking Dead” Season 3 has been the way that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the Governor (David Morrissey) have been separated for most of the year. Their respective forces are now on the verge of waging an all out war against each other... but Rick and the Governor haven’t even met yet!
That’s about to change in a big way.
In a newly released trailer for the second half of “The Walking Dead” Season 3, we catch a glimpse of Rick and the Governor apparently making an attempt to find a peaceful solution. However, the Governor has already demonstrated that he won’t tolerate any potential threats to his power, as shown when he ordered the slaughter of the National Guardsmen in his very first appearance on the series.
Earlier this week, AMC also released a longer trailer for the upcoming new episodes set to Jamie N. Commons “Lead Me Home.” And in this trailer, Rick’s leadership is challenged by two surprising sources as the Governor sets Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and his brother, Merle (Michael Rooker) against each other in a battle to the death,
“The Walking Dead” lurches back to AMC on Sunday, February 10.
