In recent years, gearhead fans of the BBC's "Top Gear" waited months (even years) to see new episodes of the world's most popular car show — and the world's #1 factual TV series.

BBC America announced this week that the network will now premiere new episodes of the show within days of airing in the UK. The latest outings will premiere Monday, February 4, at 9:00 pm ET/PT.

The network used the scheduling announcement to preview the first two episodes on the docket. Off the bat, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will drive three front engine super cars — the Lexus LFA, Dodge Viper and Aston Martin Vanquish through Las Vegas and Los Angeles en route to the Mexican border.
"Top Gear" will also search for the source of the River Nile using three beat-up station wagons and test drive the 720 horsepower Pagani Huayra.
