Only three weeks have passed since Showtime premiered new seasons of its winter programming block, but the premium network has already locked up the trio of shows for another season.

Showtime has officially renewed “Californication” for its seventh season, “Shameless” for its fourth season and “House of Lies” for its third season; all of which will return in 2014. And given the success of the three shows paired together, it’s likely they will remain lined up together.

All three series drew their highest rated episodes on Sunday, January 13. “Californication” is currently averaging 3.1 million viewers per episode across all platforms, while “Shameless” brings in 5.4 million viewers and “House of Lies” comes in at 3.2 million viewers.

In a brief statement, Showtime entertainment president David Nevins said “‘Californication,’ ‘House Of Lies’ and ‘Shameless’ possess highly distinctive comedic voices, and given that all three continue to grow their audience season after season – the pick-up decision was easy.”

The current seasons of “Californication,” “Shameless” and “House of Lies” are still in progress, with the new seasons expected to premiere in January 2014.
